You may have heard that there is a lot going on at Liverpool Women’s lately?
We are just about to start work on a £15m re-development of our existing Neonatal Unit to keep our most vulnerable babies safe at our current hospital site. You may also be aware that we are making plans for our long term future, which may in some years to come result in us moving to a new Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
So with all the exciting things happening right now at Liverpool Women’s and the potential plans for our future, we want to get our local community and members of the public involved as much as possible.
If you are interested in what is going on you might want to consider some opportunities that we have on offer for you to get involved.
- Become a Trust Member - As an NHS Foundation Trust we are required to recruit members of the public to become Trust Members. By becoming a Trust Member you can get involved with us as much or as little as you want, from simply receiving latest news and updates from us, to taking part in events, attending meetings or sitting on committees. To become a member click here: www.liverpoolwomens.nhs.uk/membership
- Become a Volunteer – Have you got a few hours to spare? If so we would love to welcome you to join our team of dedicated volunteers who help to support our services and patients. We are grateful of any time our volunteers can commit to and we try to offer responsibilities that match our volunteers’ areas of expertise or interests. So if you have some spare time and would like to join our team of volunteers, find out more at: www.liverpoolwomens.nhs.uk/volunteering
- Support our charity - Liverpool Women’s Charity raises funds to support our patients and services. Over the last five years almost £1m has been raised due the generosity and dedication of our charity supporters. There are a number of ways you can support Liverpool Women’s Charity. As well as raising funds through individual giving and events, we also link closely with local businesses who may be interested in supporting us.
