We are pleased to announce we will once again be holding our Service of Remembrance, in person, at St George’s Hall.
This annual event is organised by the Liverpool Women's Honeysuckle Bereavement Team and as in previous years the team are asking for families who would like to have their baby/babies names included in the service recording to please email: honeysuckle@lwh.nhs.uk by 4th October 2022, unfortunately we cannot guarantee names received after this date will be included.
As in previous years 2 services will be taking place on the same day and at the same venue, the earlier service will be for children and adults to attend, and the later service will be for adults only.
The services will be held on Tuesday 11th October 2022 in the Great Hall at St George’s Hall, St George’s Place, Liverpool, L1 1JJ.
- Early service, doors open at 4.30pm with refreshments and crafts. Service will begin at 5.30pm.
- Late service, doors open at 7.15pm with refreshments and crafts. Service will begin at 8pm.
Baby Loss Awareness Week takes place between 9th and 15th October annually. The aim of the week is to raise awareness about baby loss in the UK. Bereaved families, healthcare professionals, support organisations and volunteers unite with others across the world to commemorate the lives of babies who have died during any stage of pregnancy, at or soon after birth and in infancy.
To close the week and unite bereaved families around the world we ask you to light a candle on 15th October at 7pm to join the global wave of light Wave of Light – Baby Loss Awareness Week (babyloss-awareness.org) #WaveofLight #BLAW2022
