Advice during upcoming doctors’ industrial action (2-5 October 2023)

Industrial action by hospital consultants and junior doctors is scheduled to take place between 2-5 October. Some of our services may be impacted.

Unless you are advised otherwise, please attend the hospital as normal for any appointments or procedures.

Please note: Normal working hours for dealing with routine media enquiries is Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm. Urgent out of hours media enquiries should be directed to the main Trust switchboard number in the first instance at which point it will be handled as necessary by an on-call member of the Executive Team with support from the Communications Team if required.
