Many of the researchers highlighted in this edition are working predominantly as clinicians and therefore balancing a busy medical, nursing, midwifery or Allied Health Professional (AHP) clinical role with their academic roles. This is particularly challenging yet shows what dedication and commitment can achieve as an NHS researcher.
We aim to support all staff to develop their own research and support the overall research goals.
